Welcome to Avalon Beauty Studio's web site, I hope you like what you see. We believe everyone wants to feel good day to day and for special occasions. We tailor our treatments to suit men and women of all ages to help you look your best.

Me

My name is Emma Simpson, I founded Avalon in 2006 having spent ten years gaining a broad experience and knowledge of beauty therapy. After a lot of hard work and investment I've succeeded in creating a friendly, intimate beauty studio.

Take time for yourself, recharge and re-energise in our relaxing studio.

Don't feel rushed, or pay town centre parking fees. There's plenty of free parking in our private car park right outside the door.

If you need to cancel your appointment

If you need to cancel or change any appointments, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice.

Please phone or text mobile 07876335479.

This then allows us to offer cancelled appointments to clients on our waiting list, allowing us to continue to offer the highest levels of service to all our clients.

If you do not attend your booked appoointment, or cancel it without 24 hours notice, please understand this will result in a £15 charge and we will contact you to take this payment before making any further salon appointments.

Covid precautions

We completed the Barbicide Hygiene Course, Infection Control for beauty professionals.

Covid regulations have changed we no longer wear PPE and clients decide whether or not to wear masks. However, we remain cautious and advise the following. We still maintain an appointment only system, no walk-ins. Touchless payment is advised, or pre-payment, no cash. Appointments are staggared to avoid clients waiting in reception. Please don't arrive early. If coming by car you may wait in our car park if you prefer. Please come alone. When you arrive please wash your hands or use hand sanitiser. Reception chairs are two meters apart, magazines and non-essential items removed. We continue our strict cleaning regime after each client, ventilate rooms, change gloves, clean and disinfect treatment rooms, and wash our hands thoroughly. Communal spaces are cleaned daily. Towels and uniforms are removed daily and laundered at high temperatures. Disposable paper drapes and single-use items are used where necessary. We have touchless automatic hand wash in toilets. Please don't visit if you or anyone in your household feels unwell.
